Student Invention Convention

Students use systems thinking to create unique inventions to be entered into a statewide contest. During the 2017-2018 school year, CMS had one student named a finalist. She presented her invention to educators at a state conference.

Odyssey of the Mind

Students work together to solve spontaneous problems and discover methods for presenting solutions to real-world problems.

Break Out EDU

Students use Break Out EDU as a fun way to work together and use reasoning skills to solve math problems, word riddles, and puzzles.

STEM Activities

There are an array of activities that students can participate in to encourage critical thinking in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. These include 24 Math Club, Math Counts, Yearbook production, Technology Education projects, and Robotics.
