Cocalico School District has provided school counseling to students and families for many years. However, some students’ and families’ needs extend beyond the services that are provided through school counseling. Therefore, options for additional services were explored during the 2012-2013 school year.
As a result, Cocalico School District decided to partner with Community Services Group (CSG) to provide outpatient mental health counseling to local students. CSG employs a licensed therapist to provide this service at Cocalico school buildings. The program is available at all Cocalico School District buildings. Counseling sessions will be funded by individual students’ insurance companies, which CSG will help them access.
