Dr. Ella Musser is proud to support the Cocalico Eagles! She enjoys connecting the work of many groups and individuals to provide strong academic and extra-curricular programs for students of all ages.

Born and raised in Lancaster County, Dr. Musser first became involved in the Cocalico School District over 30 years ago. Prior to becoming Superintendent of Schools in July 2016, she held a variety of classroom teaching, instructional support, and administrative positions in the district. Her training for these positions includes a Bachelor’s degree from Millersville University, a Master’s degree from Kutztown University, and a Doctorate degree from Immaculata University.

In addition to her involvement in the Cocalico School District, Dr. Musser worked in a daycare while in college and tutored children and adults during her early years of teaching. She also worked as an Adjunct Professor at Eastern Mennonite University, Harrisburg Area Community College, and Reading Area Community College. In addition, she has served on the Penn State Berks Advisory Board and the Board of the Northern Lancaster County Chamber of Commerce.

As a wife, mother of three young adult sons, and grandmother to one very active granddaughter, Dr. Musser enjoys spending her free time with her family and supporting them in their hobbies and careers. She especially enjoys traveling with them and exploring new places throughout the U.S.

Whether she is supporting her own family or the students and staff in the Cocalico School District, Dr. Musser believes strongly in the vision of empowering others to achieve their fullest potential. She is excited about the many ways that public education can fulfill this vision, and she looks forward to many more years of serving others through her involvement in the field.
